Luke Sykora
Poem
for Chas
Ask the drifter
who listens to the striations
of the narrow field
and he will tell you a coneflower
can amplify the disinterested sentence
the wind pronounces.
Luke Sykora lives in San Francisco, where he works for a public media nonprofit. His poems have been published in magazines such as Quarterly West, New American Writing, Bat City Review and Lo-Ball. He occasionally reviews books for Rain Taxi.
