Simon Brittan, b. 1959 in Birmingham, England; educated all over Europe; taught at schools and universities in England, mainland Europe and the US. Published two volumes of poetry and had two plays performed in Europe; numerous academic publications, reviews, and poems in various magazines. Now lives in Athens, GA.
